Registration Drive and Mock Election at Metropolitan Career-Technical Center
On October 1st and 2nd, the SkillsUSA chapter at the Metropolitan Career-Technical Center proudly hosted a Registration Drive and Mock Election for the entire campus. Recognizing that many students were not yet 18, Criminal Justice Instructor Warren L. Booker, Jr. crafted a mock ballot to ensure both eligible and younger students could actively engage in the democratic process.

When asked about the significance of this initiative, Booker shared, "This is the American way of life... Democracy and Fair Play." This event not only educated students about the electoral process but also fostered a sense of civic engagement and responsibility within our community.
